Job Purpose and Impact

TheSales Director, Consumer Brands will develop the strategy, sales teams and processes to achieve revenue targets for the Consumer Brands unit, which includes leading equitiessuch asthe Truvia and Diamond Crystal Salt Co. brands. In this role, you will provide the teams with a strategic vision and tactical direction, oversee and direct the responsibilities of employees and represent the company in promoting and selling products and services

Key Accountabilities

  • Support business growth by disseminating information that promotes a favorable view of the organization and our products and services. 
  • Participate in planning, developing and delivering the marketing sales strategy for products, services and associated brands. 
  • Establish and implement short to midterm plans that have an impact on business results aligned with parent or independent organization objectives. 
  • Work cross functionally with shared services and internal constituents to create process and policy that benefits Cargill and its customers.  
  • Manage broker service providers - direct strategic engagement with brokerage leadership,  set objectives and hold broker teams accountable for business targets and service delivery.
  • Identify potential customers while nurturing existing customer relationships. 
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of supervisory leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of consistent sales growth through new distribution and share growth at new and current customers. 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies that drive growth, profitability, and customer engagement. 
  • Experience in trade management.
  • Experience in category management. 
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms. 
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage client relationships, and facilitate transaction efficiently.

Position Information

  • Travel is required to cover the area of responsibility. 
  • This position is located in Wayzata, MN and requires to be on site based on business need. 
  • Relocation assistance is provided for this position
  • The expected salary for this position is $160,000 - $210,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
