Director, HR Business Partner - Food, South-East Asia
Job Purpose and Impact
- The Director, HR Business Partner - collaborates with business leaders within our Food enterprise to execute the people and culture strategy, focused on efforts related organizational design, leadership development, strategic workforce planning and talent management, team and organization effectiveness and change management. This job champions changes to advance organizational goals and key strategic initiatives and translates and executes business strategies, challenges and human resources needs.
Key Accountabilities
- BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Leads people and culture initiatives across the assigned business group, including talent assessment, workforce planning, succession and development strategies, performance management, team effectiveness, and employee engagement planning to attract, retain, and develop critical talent.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Partners with business leaders to deliver practical people solutions that enhance organizational performance, improve engagement, increase productivity, address talent needs, and mitigate people-related risks.
- STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & ACTIVATION: Collaborates with leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives, providing insights and influence on key operational and strategic decisions.
- DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION: Champions and drives the organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
- METRICS & ANALYSIS: Leverages people metrics, data, and analytics to assess organizational health, identify trends, generate actionable insights, and inform decision-making.
- PROCESS PLANNING & DELIVERY: Provides thought leadership in the planning and execution of core human resources processes, including talent and performance management, leadership development, change management, organizational design, and spans and layers reviews.
- STRATEGY & SOLUTION CONNECTION: Acts as an active member of the HR community, building strong partnerships across the HR function, supporting cross-functional initiatives and projects, and sharing best practices, strategies, and solutions to drive business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the HRBP functions
- Strong business partnering experience, understanding how to translate business strategy to talent decisions.
- Strong communication and business acumen
- Food / FMCG industry is an advantage but not a must
