Compensation: $28/hr

Job Overview
Join Cargill as a Warehouse Operator, where you will perform a variety of warehouse tasks and operate equipment in accordance with established processes and documentation, with regular guidance. In this role, you’ll use your equipment skills and attention to detail to facilitate safe, efficient operations and keep materials moving smoothly through our production processes.

Long Description

What You Will Do

• Safely, move, receive, store and ship materials throughout the warehouse while keeping accurate inventory records in computerized systems.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials between trucks railcars staging areas and storage locations.
• Use packaging equipment such as palletizers stretch film wrappers labelers and conveyors to prepare products for storage and shipment
• Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy damage and correct documentation.
• Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with housekeeping and safety standards.
• Follow safety procedures communicate with teammates during shift changes and assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.
• Perform duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while using appropriate PPE.
• Basic computer skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• High school diploma/GED or at least two years of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Familiarity with SAP or other warehouse inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of rail safety procedures.
• Basic ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and components.
