Supply Chain Senior Supervisor
Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply Chain Manager will lead and provide direction to supervisors and schedulers, overseeing all day to day supply chain activities across the Deventer site and partly across Cocoa & Chocolate Netherlands. In this role, you will design, propose and implement logistic and supply chain strategies, guidelines and procedures to meet requirements supporting short and long term business needs. The supply chain manager is part of the Deventer site leadership team as well as the Supply Chain execution leadership team chocolate.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in selection of direct reports and other employees.
- Reconcile and review supply and demand calculations to the locations in scope to enable flawless execution and evaluate moderately complex analyses of the data.
- Collaborate with our team to handle key contacts within the commercial team, operations, and Cargill Transportation & Logistics.
- Participate on a country or single-site team to construct forecasting and planning for a tactical outlook.
- Provide general oversight, guidance and integration of multiple areas in the Cargill supply chain such as material sourcing and execution, make to order production scheduling, picking and loading operations, transportation and logistics.
- Ensure that safety, product safety, quality and hygiene standards are set, applied to and always driven, with an explicit focus linked to yard and logistical management.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Seven years of experience, with at least three in supply and inventory planning
- Willingness to travel to other Cargill locations in the Netherlands in avg. 1 day per week
- Experience in collaboration with suppliers and customers
