This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Poultry Nutrition Consultant will be responsible for driving the sales growth of premixes and comprehensive nutritional solutions for strategic business customers, particularly poultry producers who manufacture feed in-house.
In this role, you will acquire new customers, develop relationships with existing partners, identify their needs, and propose solutions tailored to their production profiles and business objectives. You will conduct customer meetings both in person and remotely, combining nutritional expertise with a consultative sales approach.
This is a field-based position covering Northern, Western, and Central Poland, with a particular focus on the Mazowieckie, Wielkopolskie, and Kujawsko-Pomorskie provinces.
Key Accountabilities
- Acquire new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct sales and technical advisory activities related to customized feed solutions, leveraging market insights and pricing analysis.
- Prepare commercial proposals and deliver solution presentations to customers.
- Achieve established sales targets and business objectives.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, industry trends, and pricing levels, and provide relevant insights to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical, product, and marketing teams to develop and deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of animal science (zootechnics) and/or veterinary science.
- Creativity and the ability to develop customized solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on building long-term customer relationships.
- Valid Category B driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, preferably Agriculture, Animal Science, Feed Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the sales of poultry products and solutions.
- Experience providing technical advisory services to poultry producers and formulating/balancing feed rations.
- Strong understanding of poultry nutrition and production systems.
