Customer Service Representative (Order Management)

This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
Job Purpose and Impact
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating customer order management activities and supporting customers throughout the order lifecycle. Leveraging your understanding of customer service practices and procedures, you will execute established processes, resolve customer inquiries, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery. You will help enhance transparency, communication, and responsiveness in interactions with our customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Process customer orders across multiple systems in line with established procedures.
- Manage administrative updates and change requests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support customers with order status updates, invoicing, contract information, and related inquiries.
- Prepare and validate customer documentation, including shipping and quality-related documents.
- Escalate non-standard issues to the appropriate stakeholders when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve order management processes and customer experience.
- Resolve customer service and administrative issues independently, seeking support for more complex cases.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing or administrative role, such as customer service, order management, logistics support or a related area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Customer-focused approach and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience handling customer complaints or issue resolution processes.
