Job Purpose and Impact:

As a Corporate Strategy Associate at Cargill, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Strategy team, working with senior leadership to develop world class actionable strategy and execute transformative initiatives for various businesses of Cargill. In this role, you will require a blend of problem-solving and thought leadership, communication and stakeholder management, and project and workstream management skills.

Key Accountabilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically. Structure complex business problems, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, generate and synthesize findings, and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leaders.
• Develop trust-based relationships with stakeholders from different businesses, including senior executives, commercial teams, and functional teams.
• Independently lead project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and high-quality outputs.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development and ensuring productive team dynamics.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university, with academic excellence or equivalent experience
• Pursuing an MBA or relevant Master’s degree with anticipated graduation date in May 2027
• Experience in strategy development across growth and transformation topics
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling and corporate finance
• Minimum of four years of related work experience
• Ability to work onsite 4 days a week in Wayzata, MN

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years experience in top-tier consulting firms and strong performance track-record
• Experience in the agricultural, food, or commodities sectors is a plus
• Ability to travel, potentially up to 20% (depending on project needs)
