Principal Accountabilities:
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures inclusive of personnel, environmental, and food safety standards
- Operate and make decisions for milling, screening, conveyance, and food grade equipment. Responsible for process quality and productivity using HMI and control systems in a rigorous environment
- Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e. forklift or hoists) to move product or additives
- Use hand and power tools to perform preventative and autonomous maintenance, troubleshoot complex machine issues, supports other operators in troubleshooting and providing guidance
- Monitor equipment, operate control, process samples and adjust machine processes using selectivity and complex decision making, utilize computer systems to input and record data and support others
- Sets up and operates control systems or a series of machines requiring interaction of several moderate to complex variables and often is considered the relief position for all production operations
- Assist in the review, creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regularly provide peers guidance, coaching and training to pursue continuous improvement of facility operation

Required Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic use of a computer
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
- Prior experience in production-related work
- Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- Previous forklift experience
- Ability to operate production equipment and support multiple production operations
- Experience using control panels to monitor and control equipment
- Experience with sampling and testing processes
- Mechanical aptitude, including the use of power tools, hand tools, and basic electrical tools
