Located just one hour south of Omaha, Nebraska City serves as the county seat of Otoe County, Nebraska. Iconic for its small town charm, the city boasts a population just over 7,200. The Nebraska State Legislature has credited Nebraska City as being the oldest incorporated city in the state, as it was the first approved by a special act of the Nebraska Territorial Legislature in 1855. Nebraska City is the home of the Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Center (which focuses on the natural history achievements of the expedition), and the Mayhew Cabin, the only site in the state recognized by the National Park Service as a station on the Underground Railroad.
Cargill is proud to be a partner in the Nebraska City community. The Nebraska City facility was established in 1995 and consists of 195,000 square feet of production space. Nebraska City team members give back to the community through programs such as United Way and Relay for Life.
