Fort Worth, with a population just over 970,000, is known as the City of Cowboys & Culture. Cargill operates two protein facilities in Fort Worth. The first facility, Grind, was established in 2012 and proudly employs approximately 300 people. This facility provides ground beef products to some of the largest grocers and foodservice customers in the country through private-label brands.
The second facility, Cooked, was established in 1999 and acquired by Cargill in 2016. This facility also proudly employs approximately 300 people from Fort Worth and surrounding communities. It provides a broad line of specialty meats and sauces to branded food manufacturers and food service operators throughout the United States.
