Job Purpose and Impact

The Continuous Improvement Specialist Cocoa Materials will develop, implement and sustain process improvement initiatives. In this role, you will conduct continuous improvement activities with low to medium project cost and risk and activities with well defined processes. You will be part of the FSQR Cocoa Materials Hub, which is responsible for food safety and quality of all cocoa beans, cocoa cake and cocoa butter coming into Europe to be further processed in the different Cargill factories.

Key Accountabilities

• Directly provide updates on the project objectives, performance measures, issues and risks to senior staff.
• Identify, monitor, and implement continuous improvement best practices.
• Develop and handle continuous improvement plans for projects with low to medium cost and risk in order to reach and sustain project goals.
• Conduct organization readiness assessments, value realization, opportunity prioritization, resource evaluation and execute continuous improvement strategies that meet business requirements.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field (Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering…) or equivalent experience
• Project management experience, preferably Green Belt certification
• Efficient communication
• Can-do mentality with high energy and enthusiasm
• Ability to handle multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
