Category Manager Poultry & CFI
Job Purpose and Impact
The Category Manager Poultry & CFI will design and implement a comprehensive product marketing cycle. In this role, you will identify market potential, establish pricing and market strategies, estimate potential sales, define promotional activities and handle product through phase out.
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with team and local leadership to prepare and deploy the product introductions, updates and plan.
- Clearly define the category marketing strategy for the category businesses, aligning with the national strategy for each segment.
- Collaborate with regional leadership team to leverage the best practices/ effectively deploying marketing program and activities as well as resources enhance the customer loyalty/increase customer penetration and new customers development, to accomplish financial and budgetary goals.
- Promote world-class marketing and sales, improve the ROI of marketing activities.
- Compile and evaluate research on market product requirements and identify strategic enhancements to current features and functionality.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience in agriculture industry
- Strong soft skills - good team player, self-driven, open-minded communicator
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related field
- Solid poultry knowledge combined with product or technical service experience
- Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through expertise
- Capability to develop strategy and execute product line activities across a product line portfolio
