Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Director, China MHS Mono & Specialized Business will lead the China business unit and be accountable for P&L delivery, business growth and organizational health. This role translates enterprise, group and regional strategies into clear business plans, balances commercial and operational priorities, allocates resources effectively and builds strong teams to deliver sustainable results.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the business unit and deliver P&L, growth, profitability and organizational health targets.
  • Translate enterprise, group and regional strategies into practical business plans and execution priorities.
  • Own short- and long-term business planning, including annual operating plans and key growth initiatives.
  • Allocate people, capital and assets to support business priorities and target delivery.
  • Work with commercial, operations, marketing, sales, supply chain and functional teams to balance growth, service, quality, cost and efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs and external benchmarks to guide business decisions.
  • Lead business development, go-to-market priorities, strategic pricing execution and product line escalations.
  • Build inclusive, high-performing teams and strong talent pipelines through clear accountability, delegation and development.
  • Track and deliver key KPIs, including EBIT, ROIC, organic growth, cash conversion, service, safety, engagement and organizational health.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven business leadership experience with accountability for P&L, growth and profitability.
  • Strong commercial, financial and operational acumen, including customer, market, pricing and business driver knowledge.
  • Experience translating strategy into execution plans and measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to lead across matrixed, virtual and geographically diverse teams.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including delegation, empowerment, accountability and talent development.
  • Digital and data fluency to support decision making and performance tracking.
  • Experience in business development, commercial leadership, strategic marketing, operations or product line management is preferred.
