Job Purpose and Impact

This role within our North American Animal Nutrition & Health business will lead the development and execution of strategic pricing strategies and processes to support the continuous development of strategic pricing people, process and technology capabilities across the US Pork, Poultry and Beef Feedlot businesses. In this role, you will lead the execution of profitability optimization projects across business groups and provide leadership for the continuous optimization of critical pricing capabilities such as value-based pricing, bids and RFP’s,  deal pricing and negotiations, and SKU and customer profitability analysis.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the execution of multiple profitability optimization projects and deploy strategic pricing capabilities for the various business groups aligned with their strategies, market dynamics and needs.
  • Define roadmaps and execute initiatives by leading new approaches for bids, RFP’s and deal negotiations.
  • Develop execution strategies for the deployment of pricing as an end-to-end process from strategic considerations to actual price setting techniques, governance and supporting technology.
  • Regularly review SKU and customer profitability, optimizing revenue management through prices setting and price realization actions.
  • Monitor trends and pricing developments and ensure new thought leadership and new capabilities are introduced across business groups.
  • Evaluate hypotheses for profit improvement opportunities, validate with data and facts and execute the strategy for deployment projects to capitalize on the opportunities.
  • Lead the execution of different pricing strategies and improve sustainable profitability in collaboration with various internal functions, including commercial sales, marketing and finance.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring and performance management. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Analytical proficiency to derive insights from large and complex sets of business data
  • Financial knowledge for profit and loss, margin and price decision making
  • Experienced in project and change management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Previous pricing experience with tools such as PROS or PriceFx

Position Information

  • This position is hybrid and requires to be on site based on business need.
  • This position is located in Olathe, KS, Minneapolis, MN or Lewisburg, OH
  • This posting will expire on September, 25th, 2026
  • The expected salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
