Shipment Execution Specialist - Contractual Based

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Shipment Execution Specialist will help evaluate distribution and transportation operations, data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for products. In this role, you will help conduct data management, reporting and analysis, shipping, client interaction, business partnership and people, resource, budget and project management.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain day to day operational activities and communications with transport providers, terminals, and customers to support smooth information flow
- Evaluate, select, and foster continuous relationships with external transport providers & other external stakeholder, as well as maintaining good relations with internal stakeholders
- Use limited knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations on transporter providers.
- Analyze and project transportation costs and coordinate customs clearances and permits.
- Provide distribution, transportation, and logistical solutions on inbound or outbound movement of raw material and finished product from origin to destination.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams by sharing timely updates to optimize service and cost performance
- Perform daily KPI reporting and support continuous improvement initiatives with the local team.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years minimum experiences in transportation or forwarding role
- Knowledgeable in domestics, export and import shipment activities
- Other minimum qualifications might apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in Ms. Office (advanced Ms Excel in particular), Ms One-Note
- Good understanding in warehouse and inventory management is a plus
- Able to communicate in English (written, oral)
- Familiar with ERP system (WAMS, JDE, or SAP), able to perform ERP maximo is an advantage
