Maintenance Technician – Cargill Provimi (Crévin, France)

Cargill Provimi, a specialist in premixes and mineral solutions for animal nutrition, is strengthening its Maintenance team in Crévin.

Job Purpose and Impact

Ensure the reliability and availability of production equipment to support uninterrupted site operations while contributing to safety, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of the site's equipment.

Preventive Maintenance

• Carry out preventive maintenance activities according to the established schedule.
• Identify and report equipment abnormalities or potential risks.
• Analyze production process non-conformities.
• Support and train operators in resolving routine equipment issues.

Corrective Maintenance

• Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs.
• Coordinate maintenance interventions with Production teams.
• Manage equipment, spare parts, and inventory levels.
• Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during all maintenance activities.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate external contractors' interventions.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS (maintenance activities, planning, inventory, and KPIs).
• Participate in technical investigations related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Profile

• Associate's degree (Bac+2) in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
• Comfortable using computer systems and CMMS tools.
• Technical English is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.

• Permanent full-time position (CDI equivalent), 35 hours per week, operating on a 4-shift rotation pattern.
