Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operate all equipment associated with the process, blowers, conditioners, extruders, cutters, dryers, grinders, packaging equipment, truck unload and load out and rail load out.
  • Operate Extrusion & Flour Process Equipment
  • Operate Fine Grind Truck Load out and Soy Flour Truck/Rail load out.
  • Monitor/observe Extrusion Equipment and Fine Grind Truck lead-out.
  • Monitor soy flake grinding and soy lecithin applications
  • Ensure accurate information of scale weights and transactions are recorded daily.
  • Collect and process flour mill and extrusion samples using various lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet.
  • Move packaged product using a forklift.
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Mechanical aptitude


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
  • Prior experience in production related work
  • Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
  • Working experience with software programs such as Microsoft Office, and Outlook
