This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Food service and Retail channels Sales Director will develop strategy, build sales teams and processes to achieve revenue targets for all food service and Retail channel sales teams. In this role, you will provide vision and direction to team members and represent the organization in promoting and selling products and services.
The primary location of the position can be in Belgium or in the Netherlands or in France.
Key Accountabilities
- Disseminate information that promotes a favorable view of the organization and its products and services.
- Together with the marketing team, plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for our products, services and associated brands.
- Evaluate, measure and lead the channel and applicable brand profit and loss.
- Develop mid to long term plans to optimize the organization, function or sub function and the talent needed for the job.
- Meet product volume and profit targets.
- Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience in a B2C, five years of supervisory experience
- Sales/ customer experience ( trade marketing, market trends) in B2C environment
- Fluent English proficiency
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Experiences gathered in private label environment
- Deep RFS - Retail and Food Service experience
- French proficiency
