This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Key Accountabilities
- Acting independently as the operator of the plant when starting up, operating, shutting down, securing, cleaning and promptly recognizing changes or problem situations
- Introducing raw materials and intermediate products into the process
- Monitoring and controlling production parameters
- Documentation of process data
- Reporting and eliminating process faults
- Compliance with all hygiene and occupational safety regulations
- Implementation of tasks to comply with the statutory requirements for food safety
- Taking samples
- Proactive identification of possible safety risks (occupational safety, food safety)
- Participation in instructions and training courses
- other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Successfully completed vocational training, preferably as a confectionery specialist or food technology specialist or equivilant
- Basic IT skills (MS Office), ideally knowledge of production control systems such as PCS7
- Forklift license and basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO/HACCP)
- Fluent German (spoken/written), and ideally basic knowledge of English
- Physical fitness (lifting up to 25kg)
- No fear of heights (working height up to 3 meters)
- Independent and goal-oriented way of working and team spirit
