Job Purpose and Impact
The Continuous Improvement Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for the Continuous Improvement department by working directly with and alongside operations management with a moderate degree of complexity across the Hazleton facility. In this role, you will oversee and hold continuous improvement clerks accountable to standards for safety, quality, and operational effectiveness – while providing their production based counterparts guidance on optimizing profitability and performance on key metrics.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications and optimized.
- Partner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timeline.
- Optimize operational processes and monitor routinely for all production areas in multiple departments, processes and shifts.
- Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region.
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum one year of directly related work experience in lean manufacturing
- One year of experience in operations, maintenance or plant manufacturing
- Proficient in Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of supervisory experience
- Yellow / Green Belt certified
- Bilingual (English/Spanish

- Schedule: Monday to Friday | 12 pm - 9 pm
