Job Purpose and Impact

The Commercial Assistant, will support coordinating and planning import processes, customs documentation, shipping and receiving of foreign merchandise to ensure it arrives at correct time. In this role, you will provide administrative support to issuing import licenses and completing monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain established relationships with small accounts, customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners.
• Assist in executing pre and post loading processes.
• Ensure compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations.
• Help prepare and dispatch customer export orders and plan and direct the flow of air and surface traffic to the final destination.
• Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Excel and documentation works
• Should have experience of handling transporter or logistic
• Good stakeholder management skills
