Principal Accountabilities
- Collect samples of product for microbiological testing
- Perform microbiological, physical, and chemical tests on products using lab instruments
- Observe conditions of production area and actions of other nearby stakeholders in regard to applicable policies and regulation
- Ability to work independently
- Requires the ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to work in cold or hot environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experience
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
