Job Purpose and Impact

The Buyer will support BENE region and multiple business sourcing activities with a strong focus on OPEX services (Facility, Maintenance, Technical services). In this role, you will execute complex procurement tasks to provide inputs to the global OPEX services category team.

Location – BENELUX is desirable, all other EMEA countries – to consider

Key Accountabilities

• Execute medium and highly complex sourcing events.
• Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions and provide support with the implementation of global sourcing decisions.
• Provide inputs to the global category team for category strategy development and execution.
• Provide comprehensive understanding of regional stakeholder and procurement landscape.
• Monitor continuous regional supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of noncontracted materials, goods, services and supplies.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• <2 years of experience in buying organization or procurement experience preferably in services, but not limited
• Excellent English language
• Ariba knowledge or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an understanding of the categories under responsibility (services)
• Experience working with SAP and/or Maximo
• Advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of Procurement contracts and processes
• Second European language is a plus (Dutch)
• International working environment and industry experience
