Job Type: Full Time
Shift Available: 1st shift
Compensation: $26.00/hr
Principal Accountabilities:
• Responsible for the entire packaging process
• Relieve Packaging/Warehouse Operators and Packaging Shift Lead when needed
• Assists Lead by assures all machinery is functioning correctly, including inspection of all Quality Control focus areas, materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process
• Ensures the Packaging Line equipment and supplies are ready
• Ensures the hold area is being maintained appropriately
• Fills supplies as needed and complete paperwork
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
- Be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- At least 6 months of experience in production related work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of Inventory Systems
- Experience with SAP
