Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Director, Facility Manager will provide strategic operational oversight for all significant and highly complex production and operating processes at our corn milling plant in Wahpeton, ND. In this role, you will lead and direct a team to meet organization standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide strategic development for highly complex wet corn milling production and operations to ensure safe operations in compliance with regulatory and organizations safety and environmental program standards and goals.
- Lead and direct base and nonbase capital investment projects and spending for a global business.
- Provide operational strategy, management and compliance of capital and operating budgets for a highly complex plant and be responsible for capital investment projects and spending.
- Lead and be responsible for strategic implementation results of operational efficiency programs for a highly complex plant with multiple production lines for products spanning across multiple geographies, businesses and customers.
- Provide operational leadership and fosters a culture that builds and maintains plants that are operationally sound, safe and efficient.
- You will provide strategic leadership, development and talent management for direct reports and their organization, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also coordinate subordinate managers and supervisors in selecting staff to align with current and future needs of the organization.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience and responsibility for budgets and operational planning
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience working in a wet corn milling environment
POSITION DETAILS
- Location: ND-Wahpeton
- There are also some events that might need to work on the weekends and on-call
- Relocation support may be provided
