Job Purpose and Impact
The Payroll Specialist will perform moderately complex human resource services spanning payroll and other transactions. In this role, you will ensure efficient payroll delivery and Administration for 250 locations across the United States, for 40k employees in a union and non union environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Work under established guidelines to create standards and procedures to manage employee questions and transactions and administer payroll programs.
- Deliver compliant payroll services and answer payroll inquiries for large production population
- Ability to work with a payroll team and cross-functionally with other members such as benefits and retirement team.
- Coordinate services with the human resource information systems and payroll system.
- Support management of the organization's payroll needs.
- Contribute to analyzing statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of payroll related issues and develop recommendations to improve organization's payroll policies and practices.
- Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes and stakeholders.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience in processing payroll in the United States
- Demonstrated experience in an improving Payroll processes, either by efficiency an/or compliance.
- Experience with garnishments and over payment processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Experience managing Payroll with multiple States and companies
- Experience working with US payroll systems, ideally ADP Globalview or SAP payroll experience.
- Experience with a payroll team and cross functionally with other members such as benefits and retirement team.
Position Information
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
- This position is available in Wayzata, MN or Wichita, KS.
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
The expected salary for this position is $68k - 85k. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
