This position will be based in the United States. The preferred location is Wayzata, Minnesota. 

Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Director, HR Strategy Enablement is responsible for leading a team that delivers organizational solutions, portfolio changes, and HR functional performance that enables the execution of Cargill and HR priorities. This job manages the Americas team that is responsible for the design and execution of frameworks and processes that ensure alignment with the organization goals and vision regarding operating model effectiveness, activation of continuous improvement opportunities, and effective organization structure design and change capacity. This job leads a highly specialized team tasked with partnering with key leadership to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of design and transformation practices and delivers effective outcomes. As a recognized subject matter expert in Organizational Design and Change Management, this role leverages external benchmarking, defines clear outcome/success measures and drives capability building and that advances how Cargill will continue to drive high performance, evolve, and change the way that we work.  

Key Accountabilities

  • PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION: Directs the development and implementation of transformational programs, organization design, and organizational change initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities, drive process improvement initiatives, and evaluate organization design to drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT: Directs the development of strategies based on summary reports of organizational needs to guide organizational strategic initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new or changing processes, programs and strategies.
  • PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: Handles partners and teams involved in organization design and change initiatives by directing discussions and workshops and applying expertise in organizational change methodologies to deliver effective interventions.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Partners collaboratively with key partners and leadership to ensure alignment and understanding of the business capabilities and promotes awareness and adoption of standard organization design and changes practices through effective communication and engagement.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL ANALYSIS: Integrates organizational analysis including data & insights that drive strategically aligned organizational changes.
  • CHANGE ASSESSMENT: Leads the change impact assessment by directing key partners impacted by the change and communicating actionable solutions to address change readiness for future solution implementations.
  • TEAM ENABLEMENT: Leads partnerships with key collaborators to establish the necessary tools, resources, and training to enhance skills of leaders on HR MADJV, program management, organization design and change management.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organization's goals, by ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 8 years of relevant work experience including working on large scale organizational and strategic transformational efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale organizational design, operating model, or enterprise transformation initiatives across complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing organization design frameworks and change portfolios, including enterprise-wide program deployment, governance, and success measurement.
  • Hands-on experience leading change impact assessments and readiness planning for multi-region or multi-business transformations, translating insights into actionable adoption strategies.
  • Proven experience managing and enabling specialized teams delivering organization design, change management, and HR functional performance solutions at scale.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or regional HR transformations within large, complex, and global organizations, including HR operating model evolution and capability building for leaders.

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is $173,000 - $240,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
