Job Purpose and Impact

The APAC Master Data Specialist will perform end‑to‑end APAC vendor & Outline agreement master data activities for the organization.

Within this role, you will execute master data creation, modification, validation and continuous data quality monitoring across ERPs. You will collaborate closely with procurement, finance, business stakeholders and global teams, resolve master‑data‑related operational issues, drive process compliance, identify opportunities for process improvement & simple automation, and share regional best‑practice across APAC.

This position is open to all APAC countries.

Key Accountabilities

•    Conduct complex master‑data validation research leveraging internal & external data sources (SAP, Ariba, public vendor risk information etc.)
•    Design and maintain master‑data‑related check templates, tracking tools and control checklists to uplift APAC data quality.
•    Carry out end‑to‑end vendor & OA master‑data operations: create, update, block/unblock, de‑duplication, periodic data cleanup. Build solid understanding of master‑data governance, data‑quality principles, concepts and global practices.
•    Identify workflow bottlenecks and pain‑points, lead process‑improvement activities and develop simple automation solutions to reduce manual, repetitive workload and boost overall team efficiency.
•    Independently solve moderately‑complex master‑data operational issues with minimal supervision; escalate high‑risk, complex cross‑functional issues to appropriate stakeholders and leadership timely.
•    Participate in cross‑regional global master‑data alignment workshops.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
•    Minimum three years of relevant work experience in Master Data / Vendor Master / Procurement operation domain
•    Hands‑on working experience with SAP master module is required
•    Practical exposure to process improvement, workflow optimization or basic automation is preferred
•    Other minimum qualifications may apply
