Job Purpose and Impact

The Cattle Procurement Clerk performs complex routine clerical and administrative tasks to support the record to report activities, collecting, processing and offering accurate financial data for the purposes of providing external information for decision making while ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards. Working under minimal supervision for routine situations, this job performs and reviews a variety of activities to help ensure compliance with standard accounting procedures including data entry, filing, coordinating documents, preparing financial reports and assisting with audits.

Key Accountabilities

  • DATA ENTRY: Reviews data uploaded into the system to identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or anomalies in the uploaded data, ensuring the reliability of the records and supporting accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • RECORD ACCURACY VERIFICATION: Verifies and reviews the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records, including detailed financial transactions.
  • RECORD MANAGEMENT: Supports the development and implementation of record information management policies and standard methodologies to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, improve audit readiness and maintain data integrity.
  • DATA & REPORT COMPILATION: Prepares various reports to provide accurate and reliable information to support decision making, financial analysis and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • PROCESS EXECUTION IMPROVEMENT: Participates in process improvement projects to improve the effectiveness of record to report services and internal controls.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Do you have a high school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent?
  • Do you have a minimum of 4 years of related work experience?
  • Fluent in English

The expected salary for this position is $24,00 – $25,00 hourly. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
