This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.
Job Purpose and Impact
The RMS Cost Analyst plays a critical role in deploying the capabilities of the Purchasing organization across the Cargill Animal Nutrition Enterprise. This position is responsible for implementing the global Cost Into Pricing model across all EMEA businesses, ensuring consistency in this core capability across multiple ERP systems, formulation platforms, and pricing processes.
The Cost Analyst team supports the analysis of acquisition costs, replacement markets, competitive landscapes, value-added technologies, and value creation through formulation activities—while applying a consistent methodology throughout the Cargill Animal Nutrition business.
We offer possibility to work remote 2 days per week after implementation period.
Key Accountabilities
- Run the monthly and quarterly costing processes in Western Europe (primarily in France, with backup support for other WE countries) in cooperation with other functions (Sourcing, Pricing, Formulation).
- Design and develop more complex analytical modeling tools and systems.
- Conduct advanced analyses requiring a solid understanding of data management and analytics design principles, concepts, and practices.
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex matters to the appropriate teams.
- Lead projects such as the implementation of new tools and the design of new processes.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising & Sourcing Teams, Formulation Teams, Strategic Marketing and Technology Teams, Pricing, Finance & Analytics, as well as support software and new technology deployments.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience involving extensive data management.
- Experience in using and working with Excel, Power BI and SAP.
- Ability to dig into numbers and analyze data and proactive approach in finding solutions.
- Accuracy, reliability precision and attention to detail.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, keen to work in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a multinational company, with a matrix organization.
- Comfortable using English for everyday communication in a global business environment.
- Ability to deliver results with tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Strong commitment to service and customer focus.
