Job Purpose and Impact
The ANH EMEAI Environmental Lead (Europe Middle East Africa India) will lead or assist in developing the environmental requirements, procedures, guidelines, technical standards and training. In this role, you will execute global and regional projects in the areas of environmental compliance, product stewardship and sustainability. You will partner with other leaders to execute environmental compliance projects, work processes, technology systems and global programs according to schedule, scope and quality.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure environmental regulatory requirements are met.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and other functions to help develop technical guidance and standards and conduct internal and external benchmarking.
- Support work processes development and improvement efforts.
- Provide technical writing services and oversight on drafted environmental procedures and reports, basic communications such as status reports and final reports and conduct miscellaneous administrative work.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms and applications to help monitor performance and train practitioners.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, preferably in Environmental Engineering.
- General knowledge of environmental health and safety principles and standards.
- Working experience in an industrial facility, environmental/natural resources research, or laboratory.
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in multinational companies managing multiple locations.
- Deep knowledge of European legislation.
- Familiarity with ANH (Feed), Food Industry, and/or manufacturing processes.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Experience and knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across functions.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.

Additional Information
- This is a 12-month contract position.
- The role requires up to 40% international business travel.
