This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Transportation and Logistics Operations Assistant will conduct transportation related activities to optimize resource use, minimize costs and maintain quality standards. We seek a professional who will contribute to conducting data management, reporting and analysis, client interaction, business partnership, and people, resource, budget.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in developing, maintaining, and executing regulatory compliance procedures.
- Perform administrative or clerical duties in support of the shipment execution process, completing tasks using industry standard procedures
- Solicit, collect, and organize documentation and data, performing routine data entry into one or more systems.
- Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Working with drivers and requests from them.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

- Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm | Monday to Friday
