Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Service and Excise Specialist II is the primary point of contact for the supplier, customer and service providers for all aspects related to inbound and outbound contract nominations and deliveries and will collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal parties to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and value. In this role, you will ensure all excise formalities are respected within active trades and will partner closely with the internal advisory team or external consultants to understand potential changes in the regulatory framework.

Work in hybrid system, 2-3 days in our Warsaw office. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments, order status, invoices, contract balances and inventory management.
  • Help handle improvement projects and commitments that require a comprehensive understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
  • Be the key point of contact for internal and external supplier and customer complaints, to provide solutions and ensure timely and correct resolution that follow established business guidelines.
  • Maintain and update systems that give a detailed insight into the status of the business that are aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Have in-depth understanding of the regulatory framework related to customs, import and export, as well as the excise matters and the related systems, in order to ensure all activities comply with regulations.
  • Timely handle all claims towards counterparties leveraging available information.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of the regulatory framework around excises.
  • Advanced contract knowledge.
  • Experience and knowledge with commodity handling
  • Experience in supply chain and customer services.
