Senior Director, Group Strategy Execution Director, ANH EMEA and Global Salmon

Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Strategy Execution Senior Director leads the translation of Animal Nutrition and Health (ANH) and enterprise strategy into clear regional priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes across EMEA, India & Global Salmon.
This role is accountable for end-to-end regional strategic planning and execution, ensuring alignment with ANH strategy, disciplined governance, and delivery of strategic initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor and core member of the Regional Leadership Team, the role drives prioritization, execution rigor, and capability building, while enabling sustainable value creation across the region.
This role can be located anywhere in Europe where ANH has an established team presence.
Key Accountabilities
Regional Strategy, Portfolio Execution & Prioritization Discipline
- In partnership with ANH leadership and regional leaders, refines and executes the regional strategy and business portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall ANH strategy and enterprise priorities.
- Translates strategy into clear regional priorities and actionable initiatives, ensuring strategic clarity and aligned resource allocation across priority markets, segments, and value pools.
- In partnership with Regional Senior Vice President and Managing Director, continually assesses the regional business portfolio against established ANH portfolio criteria, proactively identifying opportunities to accelerate growth, optimize performance, or exit segments.
- Drives disciplined execution by monitoring progress, removing bottlenecks, and ensuring pace and delivery against targets.
- Ensures clarity on trade-offs, resource allocation, and sequencing of initiatives to maximize impact.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Accountable for regional strategic planning processes.
- Works with portfolio leader and Project Management Office (PMO) to establish a structured execution cadence to track progress and drive accountability.
- Strengthens program and project management capabilities across the region by:
- Partnering with the Regional Portfolio Senior Advisor.
- Embedding standard governance, playbooks, and delivery discipline.
- Elevates execution maturity through scalable tools, KPIs, and best practices.
Commercial Excellence (CE) Enablement In close partnership with the ANH Commercial Excellence (CE) team, ensures CE capabilities are:
- Effectively deployed across EMEAI and Global Salmon.
- Prioritized according to business needs.
- Continuously matured and embedded into ways of working.
- Links CE capability deployment directly to commercial outcomes (growth, margin, mix).
Strategic Initiatives & MADJV Leadership
- Leads and coordinates regional MADJV (M&A, Divestitures, Joint Ventures) strategy-related projects, in alignment with ANH and corporate development priorities.
- Ensures strong linkage between strategic rationale, value creation thesis, and execution readiness.
Stakeholder Alignment, Leadership & Talent Development
- Acts as a strategic advisor and active member of the Regional Leadership Team, shaping business direction and influencing key decisions.
- Drives alignment across functions and geographies to ensure focus on shared priorities and outcomes.
- Leads cross-functional collaboration (Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, HR, etc.) to enable integrated execution.
- Builds organizational capability by mentoring and coaching talent, strengthening strategy and execution skills across teams.
- Fosters leadership effectiveness and develops talent pipelines to sustain long-term business success.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, commercial strategy, or program leadership roles.
- Proven track record of translating strategy into execution in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong experience in stakeholder alignment at senior leadership level.
- Familiarity with agri-food, protein, aquaculture, or B2B value chains is a strong advantage.
- Experience with MAJV, strategic partnerships is preferred.
