Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Millwright will perform complex maintenance and troubleshooting on production or warehouse machinery with in depth knowledge of a trade or understanding of multiple trades performing under occasional guidance. Job Type: Full Time, 
Shift(s) Available:  8am - 5 pm. 
Compensation: $28.00/hr

Key Accountabilities

• Clip shrubs, cut and trim grass and remove weeds.
• Perform minor repairs with little to no direction on various pieces of equipment to ensure ongoing operations of facility.
• Complete minor repairs on 1 or 2 systems (i.e. plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and other routine building maintenance and repairs) on various pieces of building equipment.
• Clean restrooms, mop and wax floors, empty garbage cans and wash windows.
• Inspect equipment and systems for preventive maintenance.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning or renovation purposes.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas of buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the Canada 
• Be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
• Demonstrate experience in 1 or 2 maintenance trades and components (ex. electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
• Have forklift experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Have at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
• Have experience with maintenance planning processes 
• Have experience with the standard maintenance methods, principles, practices, tools and equipment
