Job Purpose and Impact

The Project Manager supports the Digital Technology and Data (DT&D) team for Cargill’s Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) business across the EMEAI & Global Salmon region. The role’s immediate priority will be to lead the portfolio of projects supporting Cargill’s regional SAP S/4HANA deployment, coordinating work across all business applications affected by the program. The role leads planning and delivery of cross-functional digital and technology projects in support of regional business priorities. It translates agreed priorities into integrated plans, coordinates teams across countries and time zones within the region, and manages scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, dependencies, and quality. It partners with regional business stakeholders, country teams, product and application owners, technical teams, and vendors to deliver outcomes with clear governance and timely visibility.

This is a temporary replacement role with an expected duration of up to 2 years. We offer a hybrid working model following the onboarding period.

  • RISK AND ISSUE MANAGEMENT: Identify obstacles early, assess impact, develop mitigation or recovery actions, and resolve complex issues independently where appropriate. Escalate decisions and risks that require sponsor or leadership direction.
  • BUDGET AND RESOURCE COORDINATION: Work with project sponsors, product leaders, workstream owners, and functional managers to plan and track project funding, staffing, and capacity. Recommend corrective actions when delivery is at risk.
  • QUALITY AND DELIVERY READINESS: Coordinate requirements, acceptance criteria, quality reviews, testing, cutover, and readiness activities. Ensure project artifacts, decisions, and actions are documented and accessible.
  • VENDOR AND PARTNER COORDINATION: Coordinate vendor and partner deliverables, schedules, dependencies, and issue resolution as assigned; communicate performance concerns through the appropriate governance channels.
