Principal Accountabilities

  • Pulling, picking finished goods for orders as per daily shipping assignments
  • Following exact counts of required totes per order
  • Orders will be assembled, scanned and assigned to a pallet ID, 1 pallet ID per pallet, 1 product SKU per pallet
  • Special attention must be paid to ensuring the tote count is correct to the shipping report
  • A forklift may be used to transport and stack pallets of product, and for product to be moved onto trailers, or into location
  • Pallets require to be wrapped with hand wrap to ensure stability
  • Must be able to pass a Forklift training course and prove forklift skills competence
  • All DSD orders will use a hand jack for moving orders
  • Must follow supervisors’ instructions and complete the tasks required
  • Ensure work area and surroundings are clean and tidy
  • Ensure that totes/boxes labeled precisely with proper products
  • All products being processed must meet customers specifications 
  • Must be able to move/lift 10-20 kg totes/boxes
  • Safety is our priority. Always follow the safety rules, policies and procedures
  • Ensure to have safe work practices and always be aware of your surroundings.
  • All personal protective equipment must be always worn
  • Report any defective equipment to your superiors
  • Be aware of slippery floors. Walk, do not rush or run 
  • Report injuries immediately

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Warehouse work setting
  • Worked in physically demanding jobs
  • Comfortable working with raw meat; Beef, Pork & Chicken
  • Ability to work in a cold environment (0-4 Celsius) and stand for long hours
  • Able to work multiple shifts 
  • Must pass company medical examination
  • Must pass criminal background check


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work well with others 
  • Ability to follow rules/regulations
  • Basic English and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math 
  • Basic computer skills
