Job Purpose and Impact
The Commercial Performance and Development Advisor is accountable for developing and implementing strategic programs that systemically drive scaled impact on commercial performance across the Enterprise. In this role, you will lead commercial talent development programs that increase overall sales productivity and establish a structured approach to commercial performance management, leveraging data analytics to create insights that drive growth. This role acts as a strategic partner to regional go to market teams and works closely with human resources, finance, marketing, insights and other global stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead complex commercial talent development initiatives that drive performance improvement focused on sustained mindset, behavior and skill shifts required to deliver on Cargill 2030 objectives.
- Develop and establish a commercial performance management model, including KPIs/metrics and related process, data, tool and governance structure, that utilizes data-driven insights to systemically improve return on commercial investment.
- Provide expert thought leadership to key stakeholders and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.
- Partner collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure effective strategy execution and sustainable impact of relevant initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of key programs while incorporating external best practices, industry trends and stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement.
- Partner with and manage key vendors, as applicable, to ensure successful program delivery and gain insights into new practices and innovations.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of work experience in the Commercial space related to Sales and/or Sales Enablement and Operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Command of common commercial KPIs/metrics and associated data analysis and reporting skills for proactive performance management
- Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies and related technologies
- Experience in a direct selling or sales leadership role
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across a global organization
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
