Round Rock Protein Processing Plant

Located in Round Rock, Texas, just 20 miles north of downtown Austin in Williamson County, this facility is a key part of the Greater Austin metropolitan area’s food manufacturing sector. The Cargill Round Rock plant spans 204,000 square feet and specializes in searing, charring, and flame-broiled cooking processes to produce premium ready-to-eat protein-based products.

With a dedicated workforce of approximately 475 employees, the facility processes around 750,000 pounds of beef, pork, chicken, and turkey each week. These high-quality protein products are distributed to major retail partners including H-E-B, ALDI, Kroger, and Costco, supporting Cargill’s mission to deliver safe, delicious, and convenient food solutions to consumers nationwide.
