Job Purpose and Impact

Material warehouse manager will lead and provide direction to supervisors and operator, planning, organizing and controlling of materials warehouse over-all operations including of inbound, storage and outbound. Ensure all warehouse operations are safe for our people. Work closely with cross function team support each other to meet with business requirement.

Key Accountabilities

•    Takes responsibility for planning, organizing and controlling of materials warehouse over-all operations including of inbound, storage, outbound and transportation of local & import materials, and documentation flow for warehouse. Ensure all warehouse operations and inventory control are meet with business requirement
•    Develops interaction and strengthen relationship with, planning, sourcing, production, FSQR, safety and other related function to achieve excellent services level.
•    Develops effective & productive plan of materials receiving, inventory control, and goods delivery. Seek for warehouse productivity, minimize total warehouse cost while maximize service level. Ensure all targeted warehouse KPIs are achieved within timeline and in accordance with standard and statutory procedures.
•    Manages and leads material warehouse function, ensuring a high-performance team by setting objectives, measuring performance against best in class and identifying their training need.
•    Interprets, evaluates and communicates impact of decisions to the business focusing on safety, quality, services, cost, and compliance.
•    Ensure that working systems are in place to monitor inventory level, warehouse cost, warehouse space utilization, materials quality, regulation and service levels.
•    Provide coaching, guidance, training and develop for warehousing personnel to enable them to work efficiently and give opportunities for promotion.
•    Improvement and development of warehouse
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor's Degree or higher in Logistics Management, Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other related fields 
•    Minimum of 10 years of work experience in warehouse management of food grade warehouse

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Professional Warehouse and Logistics knowledge with a minimum 10-year work experience in warehouse management of food grade warehouse
•    Experience of Warehouse Operations Management and Inventory Control.
•    Understanding of quality systems including GMPs, GWPs, HACCP, BRC, Allergen Control, Food Safety System, change management control, corrective action/preventive action.
•    Good command of English both in speaking and writing.
•    Good conceptual of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, reliable, flexible, Royalty, open minded, leadership and good negotiation skill.
•    Knowledge and experience in SAP system

PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES
•    Knowledge and application of continuous quality improvement tools and metrics to improve operational warehousing, safety and compliance while reducing cost.
•    Strong project leadership, effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to assess risks and shape decision making. 
•    Strong inter-personnel skills, acts with integrity, executes with discipline, and possesses strong motivational and team building skills.
•    Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
•    Strategic management, planning future capacity requirement
•    Proficiency in MS Office are essential as well as advance skill in Microsoft Excel (able to do V-Lookup and Pivot Table)
