This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Accountabilities:
- Operating equipment including Packaging Machines, Palletizers, Forklifts, pallet jack, stretchwrapers, front end loader
- Rejecting and dumping bad bags of product
- General housekeeping tasks – sweeping, scraping, shoveling, wiping, etc.
- Changing Stretch wrap and Top Sheets
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
- Are you able to perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation?
- Are you able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)?
- Do you have experience using a computer?
- Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
- Are you able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)?
- Are you able to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice?
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or Equivalent job experience
- Prior experience in production-related work or military experience
- Experience operating a forklift and/or warehousing experience
- Experience with SAP and/or warehouse inventory management systems able to operate heavy equipment, such as bulldozer and front-end loader
