This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Plant Support Optimization Administrator will support the department operations with various daily tasks centering on content management, reporting, administrative tasks, and confidential information processing. In this role, you will serve as a central hub of information for your department and execute multiple complex tasks necessary to support members of the department and make the department function smoothly. You will form partnerships and work together with others to achieve common goals, while planning and prioritizing tasks to fulfill commitments in line with organizational objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply detailed knowledge of department operations and infrastructure, policies and procedures to perform general administrative support for the department including meeting scheduling, facilitation and logistics, expense management and general routine items.
- Serve as the point of contact for collecting and processing information, and format it to facilitate easy use by department members for business decision-making.
- Perform customer experience related tasks to ensure a positive experience.
- Provide onboarding support of new employees and training on the software used in the department.
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles to complete financial paperwork
- Previous experience maintaining and updating content management systems.
