Job Purpose and Impact
- As part of the Global Learning & Development team, this role designs, develops, and implements scalable technical learning programs that strengthen the capabilities of the manufacturing and supply chain workforce. Partnering closely with business leaders, technical experts, and learning stakeholders, the role translates complex engineering and manufacturing concepts into engaging, practical learning experiences aligned with operational priorities, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement goals. Working independently, the role manages learning initiatives from design through implementation, leveraging instructional design methodologies, learning technologies, and multimedia tools to deliver measurable improvements in employee capability, operational performance, safety, quality, and productivity across global sites.
Key Accountabilities
- PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Designs and develops complex learning experiences for the organization that align with learning objectives and target audience needs, including resources, learning objectives creation, instructional strategies, assessments and evaluation methods.
- PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION: Deploys and implements learning and development design strategies, methodologies, tools, approaches, and processes for the organization's professional employees to identify high potential talent, facilitate discussions, provide learning and development insights, and support critical partners.
- PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: Supports the administration of learning and development design programs, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, use of multimedia content, and effectiveness of quality assurance checks to enhance the overall learning experience.
- LEARNING EXPERIENCE DEVELOPMENT: Applies instructional design principles and methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences and analyzes learning needs, identifies appropriate instructional strategies, and organizes content in a structured and logical manner.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborates with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather content, review materials, and ensure accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.
- PROGRAM ANALYSIS: Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments, feedback and metrics, partnering with the related team and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the learning experience bringing best practices, industry trends and user feedback into future design iterations.
- VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Partners with key vendors and stakeholders to stay updated on the latest learning technologies, tools and methodologies, and identifies opportunities to integrate them into instructional design and delivery, including learning management systems, authoring tools and other technology platforms to create and deliver content.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
- Understanding of and interest in manufacturing technologies and technical disciplines, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, practical training for diverse manufacturing audiences.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, blended learning strategies, and change enablement.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong project management capabilities and comfortable working in matrixed or global organizations.
- Advanced English Level (B2+/C1)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Learning Design, or related discipline.
- Experience in technical capability development, manufacturing upskilling programs, and/or implementation of new operational technologies (e.g., process control systems, plant automation, or reliability initiatives).
- Familiarity with manufacturing excellence principles, including safety leadership, operational reliability, process optimization, and compliance standards.
