Job Purpose and Impact

The Social Sustainability Impact Manager will use data to enable the company's efforts to scale and accelerate adoption of sustainable business practices that support our ability to achieve our goals. In this role, you will develop and manage the process of impact modeling and data collection and analysis relevant to our social sustainability programs including the areas of human rights and farmer livelihoods.

Key Accountabilities

  • Establish best practices in modeling methodology, target setting, data collection, analysis, accounting, and reporting for social sustainability programs
  • Lead the process, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders, for tracking and reporting on progress toward social sustainability targets and KPIs. Develop business intelligence solutions to enable data driven decision making.
  • Implement and operationalize a consistent process for impact quantification methodology being applied within company, providing coaching, process support and oversight to internal practitioners as they apply this process for social sustainability targets.
  • Establish and maintain a portfolio of tools and resources.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff and working effectively in a highly matrixed team to balance competing priorities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on social sustainability data and metrics in the areas of human rights or farmer livelihoods.
  • Experience in agriculture and food industry
  • 8+ years of sustainability work experience
  • Experience with the relevant external frameworks, globally recognized methodologies and emerging trends in human rights and farmer livelihoods
