Job Purpose and Impact

  • The Senior Consultant, Total Rewards Advisory job provides internal consulting and project management support for total rewards initiatives within the Finance organization, supporting approximately 7,000 employees across 50 countries. This job collaborates to translate functions strategies into total rewards programs and assesses program effectiveness. This job conducts complex research and analyses on market trends, external benchmarks, and internal data to ensure total rewards programs are innovative, equitable, and dynamic to attract and retain the best talent, while maintaining compliance across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Conducts complex research and analyses on market trends, external benchmarks and internal data, drawing insights and providing recommendations representing the Finance perspective to support and influence the development and implementation of competitive, innovative, and equitable total rewards programs and practices.
  • PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION: Collaborates to implement the organization's strategic total rewards initiatives, including performing research, compiling data, conducting analyses and recommending actions or interventions to management team.
  • PROJECT & RISK MANAGEMENT: Leads total rewards projects by monitoring, tracking and updating project plan delivery, driving and ensuring project completion, managing expectations, assessing change impact of total rewards projects, recommending improvements to total rewards domain leadership, and stewarding Finance leaders through the change.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Maintains key internal and external relationships to deliver consistent total rewards services, and to develop resolutions that effectively and efficiently support the organization and talent strategies.
  • PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS: Provides ongoing analysis of total rewards projects and success metrics based on organizational needs, requirements, data and resources, and uses these insights to suggest other total rewards partners to review and adjust programs to ensure optimal impact of total rewards programs on the organization's goals and ability to grow.
  • STRATEGY DEFINITION CONTRIBUTION: Collaborates to recommend strategic total rewards initiatives for the business group by listening to and understanding the business context, plans, and specific needs, in addition to applying indepth knowledge of the organization's center of expertise total rewards programs, to propose the most appropriate programs for implementation

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of Compensation experience. Typically reflects 8 years or more of relevant experience.

The expected salary for this position is $120k - $150k. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

 This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
