Job Purpose and Impact

The Director, Integrated Business Planning and Demand Planning role will lead a large team of demand planners by creating demand plans for a large product offering with high planning complexity, including data inputs, statistical forecasting, incorporating commercial intelligence, and new or discontinued products. In this role, you will direct a team to create robust demand plans, work with financial planning teams to monetize this output, and lead the business through the demand review of the integrated business planning cycle within our Starches, Sweeteners & Texturizers (SST) and Edible Oils businesses.  For IBP, you will partner with all functional areas to synchronize strategic priorities to achieve business results.



Key Accountabilities

  • Define and publish demand planning metrics targets.
  • Direct oversight to ensure process documentation is maintained and current.
  • Direct the maintenance of data relative to demand forecasts including hierarchy, historical data cleansing, demand sensing data and forecast model parameters.
  • Direct our teams through measurable outcomes of the integrated business planning cycle.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
  • Implement, lead and ensure continuous improvement of the integrated business planning process.
  • Collaborate with our team in financial planning to align the operating plans with financial budget in the monthly integrated business planning cycle.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities and develop scenarios to meet budget expectations.
  • Use metrics to drive process improvement and meet business goals.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years of demand planning experience
  • Five years of IBP management experience
  • Three years of supervisory experience

• Location: MN-Wayzata; Relocation support may be provided.

• The expected salary for this position is $160,000-$190,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
