Job Purpose and Impact

The Corporate Strategy Operations Manager will lead the execution of the tactical and strategic plans related to the corporate strategy department's operations. In this role, you will work closely with key partners to create and maintain effective processes and practices to prioritize department resources towards supporting the most critical business goals, to monitor and support continued high quality of deliverables and partnership with business stakeholders, to develop the talent pool and manage the knowledge library. You will handle related training resources, including coordinating procurement of materials and resources.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure all department operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way and improve operational management systems, processes and methodologies.
  • Lead the project pipeline and staffing by preparing and facilitating pipeline discussions with the leadership team and stakeholders, set up processes and governance to ensure engagement with impactful projects for the company.
  • Handle the professional development curriculum, including engagement with third party training providers and coordinate procurement of training materials and resources.
  • Support the head of corporate strategy in setting and handling the department’s global budget and annual operating plans.
  • Collaborate with finance to run the department budgets and forecasts and examine financial data and use it to improve profitability.
  • Monitor team engagement through biweekly barometers and regular pulse checks with teams and directors, improve the process to collect post completion feedback from business partners on project team performance and review project key performance indicators.
  • Lead the department’s knowledge and case library, supervise the processes remain legally compliant, formulate strategic and operational objectives and work closely with key partners on recruitment activities.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, operations management, finance or related field
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles

    • The expected salary for this position is $170,000 - $220,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
