Principal Accountabilities
- Monitor and administer all plant specific and corporate food safety and quality programs per the Cargill Policy Manual (CFSRA) and the Global Food Safety Standards (BRC)
- Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Obtain finished product and shelf-life samples for testing and perform preoperational inspections and accompany inspectors during inspections, along with performing quality monitoring of product and processes
- Perform and record monitoring activities, process verifications and audits throughout the facility including raw material audits, documenting deviations and recording corrective actions and may retain or hold non-conforming product of limited or few areas or processing lines
- Enter limited data in Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory data systems with general direction and guidance
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to understand, read, write, speak in English
Basic math skills with use of a calculator/computer
