This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.


Job Purpose and Impact

The Claims Executive will handle and manage a full portfolio of ongoing claims for the assigned business units and outside offices. In this role, you will analyze claim cases, conduct discussion and negotiation, provide appropriate settlement proposals and coordinate administrative follow up. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify upcoming regulatory changes and investigate potential and future impact on the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Handle a full range of claims for the assigned business or other operation issues, including claims management, clause review and confirmation, disputes settlement and necessary escalation.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare related supporting documentation, handle specific claims and negotiate with counterparties for amicable settlement.

  • Identify upcoming regulatory changes and investigate potential and future impact on the business in collaboration with related technical and legal partners.

  • Provide training and presentations, in collaboration with related technical and legal partners, to improve the overall knowledge throughout the business.

  • Partner closely with cross functional teams to contribute strategy development and execution.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Fluency in English
