This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the maintenance mechanic and plays a key role in improving the reliability of the entire facility. Also, responsible for supporting and developing predicting maintenance technologies and the maintenance and reliability of plan general and maintenance department assets. In this role, you will supervise a team which executes a variety of medium complex activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations in the region.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate the execution of specific equipment strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process.
- Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
- Assist to lead the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to the plant force.
- Partner with regional and global leadership to support area leading practices.
- Develop the operational related budget to track the area progress against the estimate.
- You will have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions, and much of your time is spent completing the same tasks as the subordinate employees.
- Provide directions to maintenance lead and mechanics, execute training plan for mechanics, add a line oversee large and critical jobs over the week.

- Relocation assistance will be provided for this position.
- This position is located in Timpie, Utah.
- The work schedule is: flexible schedule with 10 hours per day, 4 days per week and on call when needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.
- Minimum one year of directly related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of related tools, processes controls and area technology systems.
- Experience coordinating third party resources to deliver business results.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Experience with SAP system.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams, etc.).
- Lean Six Sigma & RCA (Root Cause Analysis) training, knowledge, or certification.
- RCA (Root Cause Analysis) training or knowledge.
- Experience with capital Projects management.
